About the role We are looking for a Reliability Engineer dedicated to the optimization of asset reliability by focusing on the detection and prevention of failures. This is a great opportunity to analyzes data and apply engineering principles to drive improvements in asset utilization with cross functional teams. You will look at the Total Cost of Ownership, replacement strategies, and lead reliability focused improvement projects. About the role Reporting to the Global Reliability Manager and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment, you will: Work with the Maintenance department to improve PM / PdM and Asset Integrity programs. Review, update, and/or develop FMEA's and maintenance strategies. Facilitate and/or participate (as SME) in Root Cause Analyses of equipment failures and operational interruptions. Drive improvements in equipment uptime Provide equipment troubleshooting expertise. Assist in managing global reliability improvement initiatives. Lead, Root Cause Analyses of process safety incidents, equipment failures and operational interruptions / incidents. Participate in or leads equipment specification reviews. Assist in the development of parts and spare parts lists. Other job duties may be assigned from time to time. About you B.S. from an accredited college in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) 5 to 8 or more years of experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas, Power Generation Industry in Reliability, Maintenance, and/or Asset Management role. Strong knowledge and experience in CMMS, preferably SAP. Knowledgeable in Reliability tools, methodologies, and analysis such as
FMEA, MTBF, MTTR
Knowledgeable in failure analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, NDE, and extensive knowledge in Predictive Methodologies Knowledgeable in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and/or Operational Asset Utilization (OAU). Advanced use of Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as Apollo (Cause and Effect Diagrams). Knowledgeable with industry standards and practices (RAGAP, API, NFPA, ASME, etc.).
