Role:
The Validation Engineer serves as a key technical resource within the Labs, Approvals, and Verification Engineering team. This role is responsible for developing and executing validation strategies to ensure product performance, quality, and compliance for cooking appliances and related components. The position works cross-functionally with engineering, lab teams, and project stakeholders to support product development and testing initiatives.
Essential Duties:
Develop and execute validation plans, test procedures, and protocols Collaborate with laboratory teams to test appliances, components, and assemblies for functionality and performance Analyze test data and document results, providing clear recommendations Support design validation and verification activities throughout product lifecycle Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements Assist in development and improvement of testing methods, tools, and equipment Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and product teams Maintain accurate documentation of testing processes and results
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) 2+ years of experience in validation, testing, or product development Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a lab/testing environment Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
Experience in appliance or consumer product manufacturing Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance testing Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams Knowledge of test equipment development and automation
