Job Description SUMMARY:
The Aircraft Reliability Analyst uses statistical analysis to monitor aircraft performance and safety, ensuring that data-driven insights lead to continual improvements in maintenance practices, system preferences, and operational procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the airline with statistical data Process analysis and reporting to maintain and improve reliability on time performance and airline safety Monitor, query, collect, organize, and analyze aircraft systems, structures, powerplant, and component reliability data Analyze data for trends Monitor performance and make recommendations to improve component specifications, aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and airline procedures Perform analysis and prepare reports for ad-hoc reporting to senior management Coordinate and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reliability reporting requirements to include FAA reporting, time series trends, histograms, pareto charts, etc. Prepare, support, conduct and/or present information at monthly airline CASS and Reliability meetings Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have HSD/GED Minimum 2 years' experience in FAR 121 Reliability Department or similar environment Minimum 6 years maintenance experience with large aircraft, 4 years as technician Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Aviation/Aircraft Technology, Management or Engineering can apply to technician or maintenance experience Skilled with PC programs, MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, and other databases Ability to categorize discrepancies and correction action in accordance with ATA Spec 100/2200 Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills Good analytical, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills Reliable, self-motivated with positive attitude Willing to work additional time if needed to meet deadlines
PREFERRED
Associate or Bachelor's degree in aviation field College level courses in statistics and/or reliability Experience with computerized aircraft maintenance programs Boeing 767 support or maintenance experience Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License Airbus A330 experience This position is offered by the company.
