Quality Engineer —

Ramsey, NJ (on-site) Port View Resources is hiring a Quality Engineer for our manufacturing client in Ramsey, NJ. In this role, you'll uphold the highest quality standards on the company's manufactured products and supplier parts — catching issues before they become problems, and driving the root-cause work that keeps them from coming back. What You'll Do Inspect products and supplier parts using hand metrology equipment and CMM machines Raise non-conformances and explain rework needs to technicians Produce control plans and First Article Inspection reports Support in-process and pre-shipment inspection across departments Process internal and supplier rejects using 5 Whys and 8D reporting Conduct quality and process spot checks in Engineering, Moulding, and Final Assembly Prepare inspection reports and paperwork for customer reporting Conduct internal and supplier audits as needed Investigate root cause and drive continual improvement with the Quality team What You Need Qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g. associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering/manufacturing technology) At least 1 year of relevant professional experience Ability to read engineering drawings Experience within an ISO-certified quality management system Experience completing 8D reports Experience with

BS EN9102

(First Article Inspection) reporting Experience using basic and electronic metrology equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Nice to Have Experience completing PPAP submissions Internal or external audit experience Awareness of TS16949/IATF or VDA standards Knowledge of FIA regulations and standards Familiarity with FactoryMaster or SmarTeam Ready to Apply?
