Job Description

Quality Engineer About the Role We are seeking a detail-driven Quality Engineer to champion product reliability and ensure every assembly meets the highest customer and industry standards. You'll work cross-functionally with Production, Process, and Engineering teams to prevent defects, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvement throughout our PCB manufacturing operations. What You'll Do Monitor production quality performance and lead root cause analysis for nonconformances, escapes, and yield issues. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring problems. Support first article inspections (FAI), in-process audits, and final inspection verification for SMT, Through-Hole, and mechanical assemblies. Collaborate with Process and Manufacturing Engineers to validate new processes, tooling, and equipment from a quality standpoint. Review MPIs, customer specifications, and inspection criteria to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and other applicable standards. Analyze defect and rework data to identify trends and drive process and quality improvements. Support DFM reviews, ECOs, and MRB activities to ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality decisions. Participate in internal and external audits (ISO, customer, regulatory) and maintain quality system compliance. Provide quality training and guidance to production operators and technicians. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing environments (SMT, Through-Hole, Reflow, Wave Solder). Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610/620, AS9100 or
ISO 9001
quality systems, and data-driven problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, Pareto, etc.). Proficiency with quality tools such as PFMEA, control plans, and statistical analysis (SPC). Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
