Quality Engineer Posted on July 7, 2025 July 7, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting manufacturing processes through data analysis and quality assurance best practices. Position Responsibilities Quality Control and Assurance Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection criteria Perform root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues Monitor product quality using statistical process controls and other quality tools Process Improvement Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and lean manufacturing Assist in supplier quality evaluations and audits Documentation and Reporting Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards Prepare and present quality reports and metrics for internal stakeholders Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field 3-7 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and SPC Proficiency with quality tools and software, such as Minitab or similar Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher What the Role Offers Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 Opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on quality and innovation Career growth potential within manufacturing and quality assurance functions Placement fee: competitive and based on percentage Why Bay Shore?
