Job Description

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have continued experience in Aerospace Manufacturing, meeting quality and inspection standards. Will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality requirements through the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 (Quality Management Systems
  • Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations), FAA regulations, and military specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and certification regulations. and other relevant quality standards.
  • Manage the documentation of quality procedures and processes.
  • Knowledge of G&DT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions (such as using tools like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
  • Proven experience in quality management, QA/QC, and quality systems
  • Familiarity with tools and instruments for non-destructive testing (NDT) or material testing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with conducting quality audits.
  • Understanding of Federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.
