Coordinates quality planning including control plans, FMEA's, audit/inspection details, sample submissions and training plans for inspection. Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure quality standards are met. Monitors, reports and improves customer satisfaction performance. Implements and maintains plant wide quality systems.- Responsible for participating in development and maintenance of APQP, PPAP, and QMS documentation
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
- Establishes statistical reliability by using mean time before failure, weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests.
- Lead cross functional teams to develop Corrective and Preventive Action for Customer, Supplier and Production
- Creates and maintain quality process inspection instructions, reports, and quality alerts
- Participate in preparation and maintenance of process inspection instructions, reports, and quality alerts
- Contribute to continual improvement efforts; to include lean manufacturing, process error proofing, CPK improvement, problem solving and resolution, and assistance in providing timely reaction to concerns.
- Assist in the design, development, and approval of checking aids and fixtures.
