Job Description
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions to ensure product and process excellence. The Quality Engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supplier teams to uphold quality standards, facilitate smooth product launches, and maintain compliance with internal and external requirements. This position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of quality and operational efficiency throughout the organization. Responsibilities Include Lead audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Manage supplier performance to maintain high-quality materials and components. Develop and implement quality training programs for staff. Prepare comprehensive QA reports for stakeholders. Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in product and process quality. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality Strong communication and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carey, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $51.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
