Schedule:
- Full-Time, 1st Shift (5am - 3:30pm)

- Quality Assurance Engineer (Entry Level)

- Quality Investigations & Compliance
- + Conduct investigations on quality issues following department procedures and work instructions + Determine root cause and corrective actions using the 8D methodology + Ensure corrective actions are validated and compliant with regulatory standards + Promote and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- + Identify and complete process improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency + Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, inspection, and other departments + Promote and support a continuous improvement culture + Support operating priorities defined by Quality leadership
- Operational Excellence
- + Maintain a FOD-free (Foreign Object Debris) environment + Execute and help develop company policies and procedures + Maintain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction + Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aviation Sciences, Quality Systems, or a related technical field
- OR•an equivalent combination of education and experience + Entry-level experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions + Good communication and interpersonal skills + Proficient computer skills + Ability to learn manufacturing processes (Assembly, Machining, Special Processes, Inspection, etc.
Alternative Qualification Path:
- + An Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License combined with 4 years of related experience (in addition to required experience) may be used in lieu of a degree Preferred Qualifications + ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification + Experience as an FAA-recognized airworthiness designee + Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies Why Join Through PDS Tech Commercial?
