We seek an experienced Advanced Quality Engineer to design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products. Support tailoring of processes to meet Program requirements. Monitor build and test activities to ensure compliance to Quality Plans, Customer Requirements, and approved GDMS processes to ensure the proper level of control in place and maintained. Ensure proper and effective records of the as-built product configuration. Monitor and participate in the Deviation and Engineering Change processes to ensure proper change management and transfer to manufacturing is completed in an effective manner. Monitor nonconformances and apply root cause analysis problem solving to countermeasure known systemic defects. Perform Program-specific audits and surveillance to evaluate the program's compliance with processes, quality plans, and customer requirements. Participate in supplier evaluation and selection processes and monitor supplier performance to identify supplier development opportunities. Collect and report quality metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities. Lead systemic defect investigations and root cause/corrective action by working cross-functionally. Implement Quality System policies, procedures, and instructions as required. USD $105,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
