YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Global Quality Assurance team in Easton, PA, reporting to the Global Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, you'll work closely with design, manufacturing, sourcing, applications, and sales teams to ensure that quality standards are established and achieved across our products. You'll support both new product development and investigations of customer complaints from the field, helping the company improve its quality systems. This is an opportunity for a proven problem solver to translate technical expertise into real-world solutions that impact products used in more than 140 countries.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN
Evaluate customer complaints to determine preliminary root cause and direct corrective actions as appropriate, providing formal written evaluations summarizing findings for customers Support Victaulic's New Product Development (NPD) teams from ideation to launch, owning quality-related elements such as Past Performance Analysis, FMEAs, and first part approvals Work together with Manufacturing QA to identify emerging trends and initiate containment actions Support Green Belt / Black Belt projects to drive reduction in the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Create and implement updates to Victaulic specifications, procedures, and processes Support development and implementation of new technology systems supporting quality processes Initiate product / process reviews related to warranty claims and customer complaints Take on other initiatives and projects as directed by Global Quality Assurance leadership
WHAT YOU BRING BS
in Engineering required; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred 5+ years of experience (or equivalent) in a Quality Engineering role, with demonstrated success in problem solving, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing effective solutions Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) Familiarity with statistical techniques, SPC, and graphing; proficiency in Minitab preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver well-organized presentations to a large audience Ability to make independent decisions without supervisory assistance Ability to travel globally as required Ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts
