Why Consider This Job Opportunity The Quality Assurance Engineer develops, maintains, and improves the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products and processes meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role supports manufacturing, logistics, suppliers, warehouse operations, and customers through quality planning, inspections, audits, failure analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Workplace Policy Hybrid from Carrollton, TX. What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities) Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection methods, and quality documentation. Ensure compliance with the
QMS, ISO 9001, IATF
16949, customer-specific requirements, and applicable internal procedures. Monitor quality metrics and key performance indicators; analyze trends as well as communicate results to support quality objectives, management review, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Lead internal, supplier, and customer corrective actions. Prepare and report customer corrective actions. Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities Support warehouse and logistics quality improvements. Conduct internal process and system audits; support customer, supplier, surveillance, and recertification audits. Collaborate with company functional departments and suppliers to drive continuous improvement. What Is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3+ years of applicable work experience. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection practices, quality systems, and corrective-action processes. Experience with root-cause analysis and quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and PFMEA. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with domestic and international teams. Experience in an IATF 16949-certified automotive or automotive-supply manufacturing environment. How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma or comparable quality certification. IATF 16949 or
ISO 9001
Internal Auditor certification or relevant audit experience. Knowledge of Quality Core Tools. Travel Occasional domestic travel.
