Maintain and refine quality procedures, inspection standards, control plans, and process documentation. Facilitate or contribute to PFMEA sessions for both current and upcoming manufacturing workflows. Track quality KPIs to help the team minimize rework, scrap, and defects while lowering customer complaints. Partner with engineering and production groups to boost product consistency and process capability. Facilitate the launch of new products, equipment installations, and process modifications. Execute comprehensive audits of products, processes, and quality management systems. Help manage third-party and customer audits to ensure all corrective actions are finalized promptly. Assess vendor quality performance and collaborate with suppliers to address any quality discrepancies. Provide oversight for final, in-process, and incoming inspection protocols. Utilize statistical process control data and capability studies to drive data-informed decisions. Verify that all operations adhere to internal procedures, quality standards, and specific customer requirements. Educate staff on problem-solving methodologies, inspection techniques, and quality expectations. Encourage a facility-wide commitment to accountability, quality, and ongoing process optimization. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred. The ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications. Familiarity with various measurement techniques and inspection tools. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering or production teams. Competence in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office applications.
