Job Summary:
AQUABILITI
is a medical device company that produces pre-filled IV flush syringes and water-based products. We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Reliability Engineer to support the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of high-speed manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, improving machine reliability, and implementing solutions that increase uptime. The Manufacturing Reliability Engineer will focus on equipment improvements, root cause analysis, mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance optimization, and supporting new equipment installations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting high-speed manufacturing equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and outside vendors. Basic electrical and controls experience is beneficial, but the primary focus of this role is equipment reliability, mechanical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily: Troubleshoot, repair, and improve high-speed manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and improve production performance Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, fixtures, tooling, and machine components Support equipment modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Assist with installation, startup, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment Work with equipment manufacturers, contractors, and outside vendors to support repairs, improvements, and equipment projects Support production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams with technical expertise and equipment knowledge Ideal Candidate Qualifications Hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and improving high-speed automated manufacturing equipment Experience with root cause analysis, equipment improvements, and continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, and machine components Experience working with maintenance teams to improve preventative maintenance strategies and equipment reliability Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams Experience in FDA-regulated, ISO-certified, or other controlled manufacturing environments preferred Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or machine design improvements is a plus
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on manufacturing equipment experience will be considered• 5+ years of experience supporting, troubleshooting, and improving industrial manufacturing equipment preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment required. Strong computer skills required, with ability to quickly learn and utilize electronic
QMS, ERP
systems, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment Strong communication across engineering, quality, and operations teams
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
