[ Position ] Quality Engineer [ Summary ] A historic Japanese automotive supplier is seeking a Quality Engineer for its manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all parts, materials, and manufacturing processes meet strict customer requirements. We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of automotive quality standards, specifically PPAP and PCR, to support smooth new product launches and maintain high-quality production. [ Essential Duties ] Manage and execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Process Change Requests (PCR) for new product launches and engineering changes. Evaluate supplier parts, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure they consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve shop-floor quality. Liaise with customers (especially automotive OEMs) regarding quality requirements and documentation.
