NCR/CAPA
Position Summary The Senior Sustaining Quality Engineer leads complex nonconformance (NCR) investigations, CAPA activities, and manufacturing quality improvements to ensure product quality, compliance, and operational excellence. This role partners with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, drive root cause investigations, and implement sustainable corrective actions. Key Responsibilities Lead complex NCR investigations and CAPA activities from initiation through closure. Facilitate root cause analysis and develop effective corrective and preventive actions. Provide quality engineering support to manufacturing operations and product sustaining activities. Support MRB activities, product disposition decisions, and quality event management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, process improvement, and compliance. Analyze quality data and identify trends to prevent recurrence of nonconformances. Serve as a technical mentor and subject matter expert for investigations and problem-solving activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience leading NCRs, CAPAs, and complex investigations. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and problem-solving methodologies. This version is concise and focused on sustaining support, NCR ownership, CAPA leadership, and manufacturing quality improvement without risk management or validation responsibilities.
