Job Summary:
- The Quality Engineer III works with minimal supervision and uses originality, ingenuity and established procedures to control and monitor quality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
Essential Functions:
- + Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained + Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to evaluate product quality, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
AS9100, ISO
9001, and other relevant standards. + Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an Aerospace environment or similar manufacturing setting +Knowledge:
Knows and applies advanced concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program; Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures +Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish goals based on experience and judgment; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and outside professionals; Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint +Education/Certification:
BA or BS degree in Quality, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field +Eligibility Requirement:
- This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- FAA sensitive position - may be subject to a government security investigation to verify eligibility for access to classified information
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Proficiency in Lean Principles and Implementation Tools + Educational background in Structured Problem Solving, 5S, Mistake-Proofing and process capability tools + Familiarity with Minitab + ASQC Quality Engineer Certification
Working Conditions:
- + Standard office environment + Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail + Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment + Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE + May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes +
