Your new role:
To develop, implement, and refine material test plans, inspection methods, and new product launch projects. To act as intermediary between the customer and the Company regarding quality issues. To analyze product/process capabilities, communicate customer requirements, and ensure manufactured product meets the customers' as well as the Company's standards and specifications. To determine root cause(s) of defects and nonconformance, develop corrective actions. assure implementation and communicate with both supplier and customers on these matters. To train appropriate individuals in inspection methods and SPC. You'll need: 4 year related degree or equivalent QA experience in manufacturing environment Background with Quality Statistics and Quality Systems (preferably experience with Minitab) Experience with conducting Gauge R&Rs and Capability Studies. Experience documenting and coordinating root cause and corrective actions. Experience in working directly with customers on specification reviews and technical matters.
