With approximately 100-200 employees worldwide and an estimated 75-150 employees based at our Sussex, Wisconsin headquarters, we help utilities and industrial customers improve the reliability, safety, and performance of critical electrical assets. Our Sussex facility serves as our primary engineering, manufacturing, testing, and field service operations center, supporting customers throughout North America and globally. We partner with electric utilities, power generation companies, renewable energy operators, industrial facilities, and other organizations that depend on reliable high-voltage electrical infrastructure. About the Role As a Commissioning Engineer, you will lead the installation, startup, testing, and commissioning of advanced monitoring systems that help utilities and industrial customers maintain the reliability and safety of critical high-voltage power equipment. Key Responsibilities Lead the installation, commissioning, and startup of monitoring, control, and communication systems at customer sites, including high-voltage substations and utility facilities.

Troubleshoot electrical, communication, wiring, networking, and system integration issues to ensure successful deployment and operation of field equipment.

Perform testing, validation, calibration, and functional verification of hardware and software systems before customer turnover.

Coordinate with customers, contractors, project managers, and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.

Document commissioning activities, site findings, test results, and corrective actions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Required and Preferred Qualifications Experience commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, or servicing electrical equipment, controls, automation systems, substations, or industrial power systems.

Strong understanding of electrical theory, schematics, control wiring, instrumentation, communications protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States, with most weekends spent at home.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technical field preferred.

Experience working with utility infrastructure, substations, protection and controls systems, SCADA, high-voltage equipment, or field service engineering is highly desirable. If you are a Field Service Technician with the appropriate skills, please email me:
