Job Description
Performs software verification and testing of embedded aerospace software developed in C/C++ in accordance with DO-178 requirements. Job Requirements Experience with DO-178 software development and verification requirements. Experience performing software verification and testing. Proficiency with C and C++. Experience testing embedded software applications. Experience with LDRA or comparable software verification and code analysis tools. Knowledge of requirements-based software testing. Experience documenting software verification results and test evidence. Preferred Skills Experience with DO-178B or DO-178C. Experience developing and executing software verification plans, procedures, and test cases. Experience with structural coverage analysis. Experience with static and dynamic code analysis. Experience with embedded aerospace or avionics software. Experience with verification traceability between software requirements, test cases, and test results. Job Responsibilities Perform software verification and testing activities in accordance with DO-178 requirements. Develop and execute software test procedures and test cases. Verify C/C++ embedded software against defined software requirements. Perform requirements-based testing and document verification results. Use LDRA tools for software testing, code analysis, and verification activities. Perform structural coverage and code analysis as required by applicable certification objectives. Identify, document, and support resolution of software defects and verification discrepancies. Maintain traceability between software requirements, verification procedures, and test results. Generate software verification documentation and objective evidence required for certification. Support software reviews, audits, and certification activities.
