Inc Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time | Contract $60 - $65 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Project engineering Requirements specification Bachelor's degree in engineering Requirements analysis Systems engineering Requirements management Full Job Description This role is responsible for ensuring that our client has sufficient oversight for products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. This role covers Development, Systems Engineering and Verification-style responsibilities. It is an integration role where the individual will work to enable engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust, validated customer requirements. Key Accountabilities Interface between external and internal customers to elicit and validate all stakeholder requirements, including business, technical customers and partners. Create an appropriate Enterprise Architecture solution that serves both business and technical needs. Set the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for an Engineering Program through the relevant management plan (i.e., Configuration Management Plan). Establish and manage an appropriate Requirements, Design Rationale Evidence, Design Definition and Verification Information (R-E-D-V) structure that joins information across all areas involved, including Customer, Business, System, Sub-System and Component. Ensure sufficient rigor is applied to requirements validation and verification to remove technical risk. Ensure R-E-D-V health data reports from Validation and Verification activities are used to drive the engineering program schedule and remove technical risk. Develop product verification strategy, structured verification plan and Product Development Plan. Define and deliver robust certification and qualification strategies for organizations that are design authorities. Manage the creation of substantiation evidence and clearance/acceptance documentation that meets project requirements. Extract Manufacturing, Installation, Test and Commissioning requirements from engineering teams. Define configuration hardware requirements to satisfy verification activities. Act as the point of contact for the project to support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities, driving the right V&V behaviors within the project. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. 5-6 years of experience performing project engineering tasks. Experience with requirements management and Systems Engineering. Project Engineer experience is strongly preferred. This role is focused on project engineering rather than design engineering. Experience in the relevant domain is preferred but not essential. Maval, Genset or general energy applications experience preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
