Job Summary:
Design Verification Engineers understand electrical circuits and mechanical systems. They are proficient in developing verification tests based on design input requirements and perform verification testing of medical devices. Design Verification Engineers are also responsible for developing and maintaining test fixtures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain verification test plans, procedures, and reports. Perform prototype testing and assist in the execution of verification test procedures. Clearly document test results, measurement detail, and test anomalies throughout the verification test process. Update test procedures per execution redlines or deviations in verification testing. Maintain test fixture validation plans, procedures, and reports. Follow Forj Medical Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices.
Qualifications:
BS in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or other relevant field engineering field or equivalent experience. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Knows and understands basic concepts of design verification testing. Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, function generator, voltmeter, etc.). Capable of reading electrical schematics, component datasheets and assembly drawings. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Strong written communication and reading comprehension skills.
Working Conditions:
Must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation The expected starting salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 depending on qualifications.
