Job Description:
Lead the Future of Embedded Computing Elma Electronic is seeking a Senior Engineer, Integration & Test to lead the integration, verification, qualification, and troubleshooting of advanced embedded computing platforms used in demanding aerospace, defense, industrial, and mission-critical applications. This role is onsite at our Horsham, PA facility. What You'll Do As the technical lead for Integration & Test activities, you will: Lead daily integration and system test activities for embedded computing products and solutions Drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis across hardware, software, firmware, networking, and system-level interactions Integrate and qualify single board computers (SBCs), Ethernet switches, PCIe switches, storage modules, I/O products, chassis, cabinets, and full system solutions Develop and execute test plans, verification and validation activities, qualification testing, and environmental testing Mentor and provide technical guidance to Integration & Test team members Support new product introduction (NPI), design reviews, failure analysis, and corrective action efforts Build or enhance automation tools, scripts, and diagnostic solutions to improve test efficiency and coverage Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Engineering, and customers to ensure successful project execution What We're Looking For Required Experience 8+ years of experience in embedded systems integration, testing, troubleshooting, or technical leadership Strong background in embedded computing hardware and system-level testing Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux installation, configuration, networking, and troubleshooting Proven ability to diagnose complex hardware and software issues Experience leading technical test activities and driving issues to resolution Technical Expertise Experience with one or more of the following: VPX, VME, VNX+, PCIe, and embedded computing architectures Ethernet, SATA, RS-232/422/485, I2C/IPMB, JTAG, and FPGA-based systems Python, PowerShell, Bash, LabVIEW, or other automation tools Oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, iPerf, CrystalDisk, and other diagnostic equipment Verification, validation, environmental, and qualification testing Bonus Points Experience working within ISO 9001 and AS9100 environments Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems, configuration management, and document control Familiarity with aerospace, defense, ruggedized, or high-reliability embedded systems Why Join Elma?
