Job Description
To be considered for the role, you should have 5 years' experience at minimum in water and wastewater electrical design, as well as 5 years of PLC electrical design, specifically with Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric PLC's. You should also be proficient in UL508A and UL698A standards, with UL MTR certification being preferred. Additionally, experience in hazardous location electrical design is necessary. You must be proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD, and have the ability to work well as a team member with strong communication skills. A good understanding of electrical P&ID diagrams is essential, as well as the ability to create conduit schedules, interconnect diagrams, and size conductors accordingly. Finally, a strong understanding of relay logic and analog control circuits is required. Aqua Sierra Controls is a reputable company specializing in process control automation for Industrial and Municipal installations, and has been doing so for over 40 years. We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer who can work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete design and engineering of Wastewater, Storm Water, and Industrial Pump Stations, including electrical Engineering. Please note that this is not a trainee position, and experience is required.
