This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. In the role of Water Resources Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:

Focus on water resources projects including flood risk reduction, levees, dam and spillway rehabilitation, flood control, channel restoration/rehabilitation, grade control structures, wetland and lake restoration, stormwater detention and conveyance, and riverine structures.

Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities

Focus on hydraulics and hydrologic modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentation.

Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Bentley ORD

Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to receive Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate upon 12 months of employment. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

Familiarity with H&H design software including HEC-HMS/RAS, SWMM, or other channel/conduit hydraulic analysis software Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field

Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software

Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,000 - $95,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
