What You'll Do:
- + Perform engineering design for water supply infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, well sites, and related facilities + Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA, InfoWater, and other industry-standard software + Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reports to support project deliverables + Assist in feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and preliminary engineering evaluations for water/wastewater and flood control projects + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations + Coordinate with subconsultants throughout all project phases, from planning and design through commissioning + Support senior-level engineers and project managers by providing direction to staff engineers + Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and data collection to support engineering analyses + Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities to ensure successful project execution + Maintain a good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients + Manage project delivery and meet client needs and expectations + Actively participate in relevant professional organizations •
What You'll Bring:
- + Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field with a focus on water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering + PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr + 4-8 years of experience in the water resources field + Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D + Experience with levee design efforts, including evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents, is preferred + Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure and comprehensive stormwater master planning, are preferred •
Salary Range:
- $115,000-$145,000
