TOWN ENGINEER

Salary Range:

$85,715 to $145,533 (35 hours per week) (starting salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and qualifications) The purpose of this position is to assist the Town Engineer in providing professional engineering services of the Town through review of private developments, design of small public works projects, supervision of contractors designing and implementing large capital projects, implementation of storm water management programs, and overseeing the wetlands process and Traffic Calming Program. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering, construction management or related degree from an accredited college or university, plus at least two (2) years of progressively responsible engineering experience related to municipal engineering or any equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Licensed as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Professional Engineer License.
