The Development Engineer independently executes mechanical development tasks and contributes to design quality, risk reduction, and efficient project execution. What You'll Do Independently design mechanical components and assemblies Create CAD models and manufacturing drawings using GD&T Evaluate materials and manufacturing technologies Support product improvements across the lifecycle Actively contribute to design reviews Plan and coordinate qualification testing Analyze test data and propose corrective actions Identify technical risks and contrubute mitigation measures Collaborate cross-funcitonally within development projects Support suppliers in improving manufacturability, quality, and inspection methods Drive change requests and minor product improvements Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Mechancial Engineering Solid mechanical design and analysis skills Proficiency in 3D CAD systems 3+ years of mechanical design or product development experience Self-started with good organizational skills Analytical and solution-oriented mindset Effective communicator in a technical environment Strong written and verbal communication skills in English German is an advantage Who We Are At Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000-$110,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee's annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
