Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in overseeing electrical engineering projects and ensuring their successful completion. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: o Develop electrical engineering designs for various types of projects including water/wastewater plants and pumping stations, airports/related airport facilities, and office and laboratory buildings. o Design electrical power distribution and lighting in industrial, institutional, and commercial facilities. o Design low and medium voltage switchgear and transformers. o Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, arc flash analysis). o Field investigations and prepare building electrical systems engineering reports. o Perform construction administration services such as shop drawing and RFI review. o Create cost estimates and proposals for projects. o In addition to technical excellence, this individual is expected to effectively lead, manage, and design multiple projects simultaneously. o Travel if/when required.Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience
- P.E. Required
- Project Management experience
- Client Management experience
- Stable work history within the organization
- Detail oriented and experienced engineer
- Experience in construction administration/management and observation
- Ability and experience to satisfy clients' needs, budgets, and schedules
- Strong familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE, federal, state, and local building codes)
- General familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of work impact on, and coordination with, other disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency in ArcFlash studies software
