Job Overview - The Senior Stormwater Engineer is responsible for supporting the Water Resources Department (WRD) with respect to a wide range of water resources related projects, initiatives, and issues. The incumbent provides technical leadership for the planning, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, rehabilitation, and long-term management of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's stormwater facilities, infrastructure, surface water conveyance systems, and projects using civil engineering, hydrologic, hydraulic, and stormwater management principles, practices, and engineering methods. The Senior Stormwater Engineer employs their skills to provide in-house work products, as well as to procure by contract work products from private consultants and contractors, to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position. Skills - A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology (ABET) accredited program is required. A State of Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience in water resources stormwater engineering is required, with at least of a minimum of five (5) years of professional water resources/stormwater engineering experience practicing with the State of Florida. Possession and maintenance of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Certified Floodplain Manager (CFPM) accreditation is preferred, or ability to obtain it within the first two (2) years of employment. Demonstrate excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD Civil 3D, commonly used water resources modeling and design software (e.g., EPAnet, ArcGems, ICPR, Hydrocad, EPA-SWMM, HecRas, S2DMM, Cascade, ACAD, MS Project, Vermeer Bore Planner [HDD]), and ESRI (GIS) software packages is required. Must be able to travel to all Seminole Tribe of Florida Reservations, tribally owned lands, and facilities, and must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, when required.

$106,000.00 - $138,000.00 per year
