The City of Tallahassee is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to join its Stormwater Management team and help lead watershed planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood-risk analysis, and coordination of complex infrastructure projects. Salary Pay range:

$60,504.70 to $164,184.38 annually Salary will be based on the qualifications of the selected candidate. What You'll Do Help lead watershed planning, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood-risk analysis, and coordination of complex infrastructure projects Work with watershed models and flood-risk planning tools Evaluate complex drainage and infrastructure projects Perform specialized engineering analyses Coordinate with City departments, Leon County, Blueprint, developers and consulting engineers Help identify and prioritize future stormwater improvements The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a PE with experience in stormwater, drainage or water resources engineering who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants the opportunity to influence long-term infrastructure decisions. The position generally requires approximately 5-6 years of progressively responsible engineering experience and requires PE registration, with Florida registration obtainable within one year if currently licensed in another state.
