Early-Career Engineers:
This position is well suited for recent graduates or students graduating in 2026 with at least one relevant civil or environmental engineering internship or co-op. It's an entry-level role with strong expectations for foundational exposure through internships, coursework, or hands-on project experience. J-U-B is committed to long-term professional growth. This includes a clear path from EIT to PE licensure with strong support and exam encouragement. You'll receive structured mentorship from licensed Professional Engineers and exposure to real projects to help support your progression along this path.

What Your First Year May Include:
Learning design standards and software with mentor guidance
Assisting with water and wastewater system designs
Participating in site visits and public engagement
Building confidence in technical judgment and communication
What You'll Do:
Help design water and wastewater systems that protect public health and support. growing communities across the region.
Collaborate with engineers, planners, and public agencies.
Learn how projects move from concept to reality.
Support communities by helping design critical infrastructure.
Play key roles in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management.
Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and engineers and answer questions from the public.
Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.
Utilize design tools such as Bluebeam, MS Office Products, WaterCAD, and InfoSWMM.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related field (completed or expected before start date)
At least one relevant engineering internship or co-op experience
FE exam passed or scheduled prior to start date
Strong communication, teamwork, and technical writing skills
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam preferred
Hydraulic modeling experience preferred but not required
Salary Range:
EI / EIT
$72,000•$90,000 (based on experience and FE status) PE-1: Up to $105,000
