Black Ark Builders is looking for a Project Engineer who wants to be involved in the work, not just buried in paperwork. We build heavy civil projects involving underground utilities, water, wastewater, excavation, concrete, and related infrastructure. We need someone who can keep project details organized, communicate with the field, and help the team solve problems before they become problems. You'll support: RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Plans, specifications, and quantity tracking Project schedules and coordination Procurement and vendor communication Field-to-office communication Change orders, pay applications, and project closeout Project managers and field leadership The person we're looking for: Has construction/project engineering experience (associates are welcome) Understands how field operations actually work Can read plans and specifications Communicates clearly and follows through Is organized, proactive, and comfortable solving problems Takes ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do Heavy civil, underground utility, water/wastewater, or concrete experience is strongly preferred A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is helpful, but proven construction experience and capability matter more to us. $25.74 - $50.09 per hour
