Job Description

Description Permanent position for a Water Resources Engineer / Environmental Engineer supporting drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utility programs. Execute project tasks including technical analyses, conceptual design development, and alternatives comparison. Support wastewater master planning, combined sewer overflow long-term control plans, and municipal stormwater management plans. Perform hydraulic and process evaluations of collection system performance, treatment alternatives, and energy usage. Author master planning documents, feasibility studies, compliance submittals, and technical reports. Build and maintain tracking spreadsheets and data management tools for project activities. Develop presentations and decision-support materials for utility clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders. Support capital improvement planning, asset management strategy, and greenhouse gas / compliance program management. This will be a hybrid position, mostly working remote. Requirements BS Civil Engineering; BS Environmental Engineering; or BS - Environmental Science. Minimum 3 years of project delivery experience supporting drinking water and/or wastewater utilities. Working knowledge of alternatives analysis and capital project delivery. Demonstrated technical writing ability across reports, studies, and regulatory documentation. Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software for analysis and client deliverables. EIT certification required; PE license a plus but not required. Familiarity with greenhouse gas inventory methods, mitigation planning, and climate adaptation a plus. Experience with GIS platforms and business intelligence dashboard tools a plus. #ERGx
