What You'll Do Design & Analyze:

Develop water resources and stormwater designs, including drainage systems, detention/retention facilities, channels, culverts, storm sewers, and other related infrastructure.

Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling:

Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard modeling tools and methodologies.

Technical Excellence:

Prepare engineering calculations, drainage studies, technical reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents.

Floodplain & Watershed Analysis:

Support watershed studies, floodplain analysis, flood mitigation projects, and other water resources evaluations.

Permitting & Compliance:

Assist with local, state, and federal permitting requirements and coordinate with regulatory agencies when needed.

Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:

Work closely with civil engineers, environmental professionals, surveyors, planners, designers, project managers, and clients. Project Ownership (Level-Dependent): Take increasing responsibility for project schedules, budgets, deliverables, client communication, and technical direction as your experience grows.

Who You Are Education:

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Credentials:

EIT or PE preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.

Experience:

Approximately 2-10 years of experience in water resources, stormwater, drainage, hydrology, hydraulics, or related civil engineering.

Technical Skills:

Experience with programs such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, SWMM, Civil 3D, GIS, or comparable modeling/design software.

Soft Skills:
