Job Description

We are looking for a Water Resources Engineer to join our team serving our water/wastewater clients across Texas, the West Central region, and beyond. This position will require working independently and as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams to develop engineering evaluations, design concepts, prepare preliminary and detailed designs, and support field engineering activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a wide variety of tasks and with peers in the San Antonio, TX office and throughout the company. This position offers a self-motivated professional an opportunity to grow personally as well as professionally within our diverse and fast-paced office. We'll expect you to: Work on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class projects. Effectively work with project teams with diverse technical skill sets and geographic locations. Observe and document field and construction activities primarily related to groundwater, water, wastewater, and facility infrastructure. Planning, modeling, design and permitting related to water supply, stream restoration, ecosystem improvements, dams, detention and water quality facilities, floodplain improvements, stormwater conveyance systems, and other critical water resources infrastructure. Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and work in a fast-paced consulting environment. Work to build a cooperative partnership between the client and all stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the projects. Collaborate on and contribute to maintaining and building strong client relationships. Ability to participate in and lead tasks. Drive health and safety in all aspects of project execution, including field, office, and personal environments. B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline. 5+ years of experience. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 18 months. Ideally, you'll also have Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
