Jul 1, 2026 Job Description England Public Schools is actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EAST Facilitator for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The EAST Facilitator is responsible for leading and managing the school's Education Accelerated by Service and Technology (EAST) program at the high school level. The facilitator creates a student-centered learning environment where students utilize technology, collaboration, critical thinking, and project-based learning to solve real-world problems and provide meaningful service to the school and community. The EAST Facilitator serves as a mentor, coach, and program manager by guiding students through the design and implementation of community-based projects while maintaining partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and stakeholders.Required Qualifications of Employment:
Valid Arkansas teaching license (any grade and subject level). Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Strong technology integration skills and experience with digital tools and software. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations, staff, and community stakeholders. Ability to analyze student data and implement intervention strategies. Proficiency with student information systems and educational technology. A passion and love for learning and teaching students. Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Resilience and a positive attitude. The ability to establish rapport and build professional relationships with students and community partners. A high degree of professionalism. A growth mindset. Knowledge of project-based learning methodologies. Ability to motivate and mentor high school students.Preferred Qualifications of Employment:
Experience with project-based learning or STEM education. Experience in community engagement and partnership development. Knowledge of multimedia production, coding, design software, GIS, robotics, or emerging technologies. Previous experience with the EAST Initiative program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Leadership Develop, implement, and maintain a successful EAST program aligned with EAST Initiative standards and district expectations. Foster a student-driven learning environment emphasizing innovation, leadership, collaboration, and service. Facilitate project-based learning experiences connected to community needs and student interests. Guide students in project planning, research, development, implementation, and presentation. Promote student ownership, accountability, and leadership within the EAST classroom. Organize and supervise student participation in EAST events, showcases, conferences, and competitions.Instructional Responsibilities:
Teach and model effective use of technology tools, software applications, multimedia production, and emerging technologies. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning styles and needs. Integrate state standards, digital literacy, career readiness, and employability skills into EAST projects. Provide ongoing assessment and feedback regarding student progress, participation, and project outcomes. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation as required by district policy.Technology and Lab Management:
Maintain an organized, safe, and productive EAST lab environment. Manage and maintain EAST equipment, software, and technology resources. Coordinate troubleshooting and repair needs with district technology personnel. Ensure appropriate student use of technology in accordance with district policies and digital citizenship expectations.Community and Partnership Development:
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, businesses, civic organizations, and local agencies. Collaborate with school staff and community stakeholders to identify authentic project opportunities. Coordinate community presentations, project demonstrations, and public relations activities that highlight student work. Serve as an advocate for the EAST program within the school and community.Professional Responsibilities:
Attend required EAST Initiative trainings, workshops, conferences, and professional development activities. Collaborate with other EAST Facilitators and district personnel to strengthen program effectiveness. Maintain compliance with EAST Initiative program standards and district expectations. Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal or district administration. Performance of this position will be evaluated in the Educator Effectiveness System (EES) in accordance with Arkansas Department of Education standards, district policies, and EAST Initiative expectations. Requires occasional evening and weekend activities for presentations, events, or community engagement. May require travel for EAST training, conferences, and student events.
