Job Title:
Machine Operator Job Description This role focuses on setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts in a small, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will interpret technical documentation, monitor production quality, and perform routine maintenance while collaborating closely with a tight-knit team to meet production goals. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including Okuma lathes and Seiki mills, to produce precision components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards. Monitor machine operations continuously and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality, efficiency, and throughput. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machines and related equipment, and promptly report any mechanical issues. Use mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may affect production quality or machine performance. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. Complete production logs, inspection records, and other documentation accurately and on time. Collaborate with fellow operators, production staff, and supervisors to meet daily and long-term production targets. Handle general production tasks such as packing parts, using hand and power tools, and supporting other machining operations as needed. Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily production activities. Communicate clearly in English with team members and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and safe operations. Why Work Here?
