Entry-Level Tax Preparer Position Overview Dorco Enterprises LLC is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Tax Preparer eager to learn and grow within the accounting industry. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and accounting while developing relationships with clients and building a strong professional foundation. Some experience in accounting is required. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail Gather and organize client financial information and documentation Communicate with clients to request additional information and provide updates Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks as needed Support tax planning and research under supervision Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines Assist clients during the return finalization and checkout process What You'll Gain Hands-on, real-world experience in tax preparation and accounting Direct exposure to client work and business operations Ongoing mentorship and training from experienced professionals Opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and licensing support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed or currently in progress) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Basic understanding of tax concepts and accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with tax software or QuickBooks is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
