Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your welding skills while contributing to diverse welding projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and ready to work on various manufacturing environments. This paid position provides hands-on experience with industry-standard techniques and equipment, setting the foundation for a rewarding career in welding. Duties Assist with welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) welding techniques under supervision. Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively. Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to meet project specifications. Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, material quantities, and project dimensions. Assist in pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly tasks following safety standards and ASME codes & standards. Experience Welding certification preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machining equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus. Basic understanding of welding processes such as MIG, TIG, or FCAW welding is desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes like plasma cutting, press brake operation, or pipe threading is beneficial.

From $16.00 per hour
