Environmental Field Technician

ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD TECHNICIAN

Field & Technical Services LLC (FTS) is a growing and innovative environmental service provider for several sites across the United States. FTS is headquartered in Carnegie, PA and has numerous branch offices. Our expanding workload and client base have created immediate opportunities for Environmental Field Technicians in our Carnegie, PA office. Responsibilities include travel to various sites across the U.S. performing sample collection of ground water, surface soil, sediment, waste water, and storm water. Field duties include water level data collection, field parameter collection, well and site inspections, and data collection using multiple electronic applications. Other duties include field activity planning and post event reporting. Necessary training is provided. Weekly travel is necessary in certain instances.

Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Preferred B.S. degree in Environmental Science or related sciences with 0 - 2 year of professional experience; Working knowledge of state regulations a plus; OSHA 40-hour training preferred but will provide; Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Knowledge of GIS application a plus; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work well independently as well as in a project team; and, Valid driver's license.
