K-5 Elementary School Psych | Carnegie, Pennsylvania Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Carnegie, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract 18 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a positive impact on young learners as a full-time School Psychologist working with elementary students in a supportive and collaborative environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work with grades K-5, providing essential psychological services and guidance to help students succeed academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid and active Pennsylvania school psychologist license is required Prior experience as a school psychologist in Pennsylvania is preferred Certification in School Psychology Expertise working with elementary school-aged children (K-5) Strong understanding of initial evaluations and the IEP process Ability to serve as a case manager and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for elementary students Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs, ensuring student needs are addressed Act as a case manager for assigned students, overseeing progress and coordinating support services Provide counseling and intervention strategies within the school setting Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote student growth and well-being Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations You'll appreciate weekly pay, ensuring reliable and timely compensation for your expertise.
