The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices. This role supports infection control and contributes to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization. How you'll contribute: A Environmental Services Aide who excels at this role: Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule. Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily. Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness. Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors. Performs other duties as assigned.What we are looking for:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.Why join us:
