Job Description

Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in cath and electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures to support a dynamic cardiac team. This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to apply advanced skills in a busy cath/EP laboratory environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time weekday shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. One variable weekday off per week On-call rotation: One weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m.-Monday 6:30 a.m.) and four weeknights per month (5:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. next day) No regular weekend shifts outside scheduled on-call
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years working in a cath/EP lab setting Experience scrubbing all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart, and EP procedures Familiarity with Merge Hemo documentation system preferred
Certification/Education:
RCIS or RCES licensure strongly preferred; ARRT licensure considered with demonstrated scrub experience in interventional cath lab procedures Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scrubbing duties during a wide range of cardiac cath and EP lab procedures Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team while demonstrating the ability to work independently Document procedures using established systems, adhering to the highest standards in patient safety and care Remain available for on-call hours as scheduled, effectively supporting urgent or emergent patient cases when needed What to
