The Equipment Engineer improves the efficiency, capability, and reliability of manufacturing processes, equipment, and infrastructure. This role applies engineering principles to process design, optimization, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support safe, compliant, and cost-effective manufacturing operations at our Manufacturing Facility in Johns Creek, GA.
Specifics include:
Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing processes and equipment, by utilizing statistical analysis, design of experiments, equipment improvements, FMEAs, and daily process troubleshooting. Identifying areas for improvement (sustainable gains in product quality, output, and cost reduction) and recommending appropriate Solutions. Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures. Participation in capital projects including management of associated internal resources and validation Provide appropriate level of technical support based on role seniority and work with various organizations on key processes. Ensures compliance with HSE and Quality systems, including but not limited to GXP/GMP, ISO, FDA and OSHA regulations. Execute protocols and continuous improvement support for site initiatives and prepare documentation related to procedures, training, work instructions, validation, etc. Prepares documentation in compliance with Quality requirements as part of the introduction of new manufacturing equipment and /or processes including, URS, FDS/FS, FMEA and others.
