ERP/CRM Configuration SME

Description We are looking for an ERP/CRM Configuration SME to support enterprise platform optimization in Farmington Hills, Michigan. This position focuses on translating business needs into effective system configurations, custom enhancements, and scalable technical solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong platform expertise with the ability to document requirements, develop integrations, and improve overall system performance.

Responsibilities:

Gather, interpret, and refine business needs to create clear functional documentation and solution designs. Configure ERP and CRM platform features to align system behavior with operational and customer-facing processes. Develop and maintain client-side scripts to extend application functionality and improve user experience. Build and support APIs and system integrations that enable reliable data exchange across business applications. Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to convert requirements into practical configuration and development tasks. Manage configuration changes using structured control processes to protect system stability and traceability. Troubleshoot platform issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Contribute to enhancement initiatives by recommending improvements that increase efficiency, usability, and system value. Requirements Experience configuring ERP and/or CRM platforms in a complex business environment. Proficiency in client-side scripting for application customization and interface behavior. Ability to create and interpret business requirements documents with clarity and accuracy. Hands-on knowledge of configuration management practices and controlled release processes. Experience developing or supporting APIs for integrations between enterprise systems. Background in Salesforce development or related CRM customization work.
