Full-Time Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-volume escrow unit at Forefront Escrow in Rancho Santa Fe. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in escrow and be able to perform key functions such as balancing files, communicating with lenders, preparing and handling documents, and managing a variety of requests. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is adaptable, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Balance Escrow Files:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date escrow files, including preparing and reviewing settlement statements. Communicate with
Lenders:
Maintain regular communication with lenders to gather necessary documents, verify information, and resolve issues.
Disburse Proceeds:
Process disbursements in compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Order HOA & Solar Documents:
Coordinate with HOA and solar companies to gather required documents.
Prepare Documents:
Prepare escrow documents for signatures, closing, and recordation.
Handle Lender Requests:
Address and fulfill lender-specific requests related to the escrow process.
Multitask & Prioritize:
Manage multiple files and tasks concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in escrow or title industry required. A background in a high-volume escrow environment is preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and follow-up abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office and escrow software systems Knowledge of escrow procedures and legal documents
Personality:
Outgoing and personable with a positive attitude Strong customer service orientation Trainable and willing to learn Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
