Professional Dog Groomer with Proven Portfolio Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Professional Dog Groomer to join our team. This role is ideal for a groomer with 2+ years of professional experience , a strong commitment to animal care, and an established online portfolio or professional social media presence that reflects high-quality work and professionalism. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, values client relationships, and understands the importance of personal branding in today's grooming industry. Responsibilities Perform professional dog grooming services including bathing, brushing, drying, haircuts, de-shedding, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and hygiene care Execute breed-appropriate cuts and custom styles based on client preferences Safely and humanely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Assess coat and skin conditions and communicate any concerns professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming environment Properly clean, maintain, and store grooming tools and equipment Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding services and recommendations Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism Follow all safety, health, and sanitation protocols Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of professional dog grooming experience Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently Calm, patient demeanor with animals and clients Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift dogs as needed Grooming certification preferred but not required Portfolio & Professional Presence Requirement Applicants must have an online portfolio or professional social media presence demonstrating: Quality and consistency of grooming work (before-and-after photos preferred) Attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall presentation Professional communication and client engagement Ability to market oneself and represent a business positively Acceptable formats include a personal website, Instagram, Facebook business page, or other professional portfolio platform. Content should be current and representative of your skills.
