Estate & Property Manager

We are seeking one exceptional individual to serve as the full-time Estate & Property Manager for a private family's primary residence and additional area properties in the Brainerd Lakes region. This is a hands-on, year-round role built for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and understands what it means to maintain a private estate to an uncompromising standard across all four Minnesota seasons. Candidates with a background in resort, lodge, or lake property management — or those coming out of the trades who want stable, rewarding employment without the demands of running their own business — are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain multiple private lake and commercial properties to an exacting standard throughout the year. Full winter operations including snow plowing and ice management — all necessary equipment provided. Lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and seasonal cleanup. Light construction, carpentry, repairs, and interior/exterior painting. Pressure washing, dock installation and removal, and seasonal equipment setup and teardown. Equipment, watercraft, and vehicle detailing and light maintenance. Operate skid steer and related equipment for site work, grading, snow management, and material handling (OSHA skid steer certification or equivalent a plus; training available for the right candidate). Vehicle transport and delivery as needed. Coordinate and oversee outside vendors and contractors. Proactively identify and address maintenance issues before they escalate. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience. Brand new truck with plow assigned to the role. Private office and fully equipped workshop. Required Experience/Skills 3+ years of property management or general construction experience. Clean motor vehicle history. Ideal Candidate Solid background in general construction, skilled trades, or resort/lodge/property maintenance.
